Kulim Toastmasters Club

November 6th, 2008 will be the most memorable night to VPE, Sabrina as she managed to finish all 10 assignments from Competent Communication Manual. This was announced by General Evaluator on that night, Sutharat. The last speech was so touching as Sabrina try to inspire the audience by sharing her own experience managing the club as the VPE. With the latest achievement, there are 3 CCs to go.

DTM Rajagopal started the meeting sharp at 8.00 pm by introducing the Toastmaster of the Evening (TOE), TM Cheong Yew. Cheong Yew did very well in conducting the meeting even it is his first time being as the TOE. 

At that night we have 2 guests from other club which were Martin and Vincent. Both of them played the role as the Speech Evaluator and Thought of the Day. They were so awesome!

CL Roslima presented "Confidence" as the Word of the Day. While TM Shaiful delivered his humorous speech very well. It was something related to mind strength versus physical strength. As an additional, DTM Rajagopal again shared his humorous speech that related to Air Of India!

In Table Topic session which required the impromptu speech, ACS, CL Kadir had prepared 7 topics for the audience. All the questions seemed quite tough but they managed to anwer it very well.

The speech evaluator delivered their speech very well and they were:

• TM Sabrina - You've change my life (CC Manual)
• ATMB, CL Frank - Inventroy Reduction (ACS Manual)

Thanks to Carlyn and Voon Ting who voluntered to take up the role of Time Master and Ah Master at the very last minute.

This time, meeting started sharp at 8.00 pm and finished at 10.00 pm. Everybody were so happy and rushed home immediately after the meeting.
