Kulim Toastmasters Club

November 5 - The meeting this time was successfully conducted and considered as a very informative meeting. The prepared speakers were Cheong Yew, Chin and Sabrina. 3 of them have chose and presented a very good topic selection.

Cheong Yew was presented his first project from Interpersonal Communication Manual entitled Important of Conversation Skill. He shared with the audiences the tips on how to communicate better. The manual that he decided to choose is quite a tough manual. Within his speech, he is required to call one of the audience without any planning and conduct an impromptu conversation between them. In his speech, Aiman has been called and they managed to communicate each other with a little nervousness.

The second speaker, Chin has delivered his third project from Competent Communication Manual entitled Angioplasty. At first, most of the audiences have no idea regarding the Angioplasty. However, at the end of his speech the audiences finally dicovered that Angioplasty is a kind of minor surgery where people undergo to check his heart condition. The diode tube with a light will be inserted into the blood vesels and the doctor than will know the blood circulation condition. According to Chin, this surgery has very little pain and the patient even can watch the diode move in his blood vessels through the monitor provided.

The last speaker Sabrina as usual has shared her expertise in IT. This time she talked on Collaboration Technology using Google Document. Google Document is a free application provided by Google for the user who want to share their dcuments such as excel, word and power point with other users. The main purpose to share the documents is to enable all the users who specially given a permission to access and update the documents silmuteneously.

All in all, the meeting was so successful! It has been conducted such in a happy go lucky mood. Thank you to all the members who have gave their very best to make this meeting successful.
